We have a wide variety of health care professionals dedicated to providing quality health care.Tumblr (3.0; @tbchs)http://tbchs.tumblr.com/<p><span class="style33"><span>Thunder Bay Community Health Services (TBCHS) has provided full complement of primary, preventive and supplemental health services to residents of Northeastern Lower Michigan since its incorporation in 1981. <span> </span>In July of 2007 we celebrated our 25th year of service.<span>  </span>Today, we operate five year-round health centers and provide services to over 13,000 patients a year in Montmorency, Presque Isle, Cheboygan, and Alpena Counties, and all the surrounding areas. <span> </span>A staff of over 90 employees provide family practice health care services; dental services; immunizations; pharmacy services; preventative health care; family planning services; obstetrics and gynecology services (shared care); lab services; x-rays; counseling and therapy; acute care; HIV/AIDS counseling and testing; occupational medicine: outreach services; and health education.<span>  </span>These services are available at times that are convenient for the patient, presented in a culturally sensitive manner, and in a language the patient can understand.</span></span><span></span></p> <p class="style331"><span> </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal">Thunder Bay Community Health Service, Inc. is accredited by &#8220;The Joint Commission&#8221;, and receives partial funding through the Department of Health and Human Services. <span> </span>Over the years, TBCHS has collaborated with many local agencies in the public and private sectors. <span> </span>We have provided nursing services within local schools, participated in grants with our District Health Department, and assisted with the grandparent and senior companion programs.</p>http://tbchs.tumblr.com/post/899782548http://tbchs.tumblr.com/post/899782548Tue, 03 Aug 2010 17:51:00 -0400
